The very first release of the legendary George T Stagg Bourbon.

The Antique Collection celebrates the heritage of the the Sazerac Company and the Buffalo Trace distillery, so it is only fitting that one of its products pay tribute to both the man who saved the distillery in the late 19th century, but also recognises Buffalo Trace’s identity for all but five years of the previous century.

Food critic Morgan Murphy once wrote “If you want your guests’ eyes to pop out of their heads in a fit of bourbon ecstasy, this is your bourbon.”

“Hot brown sugar, tons of clove and oak, but not woody at all. Raw cacao, dried cherries flambeed with bourbon. Mouthfeel is creamy, heavy, hot, oily, just f***ing beautiful, covering the whole palate in chocolate, vanilla, and brown sugar from the corners of my mouth to the top.”
